Congratulations on your upcoming marriage.I would be delighted to be the celebrant for your very special occasion.You will find me friendly and helpful - I would be honoured to help bring some of the magic of this beautiful area into your special day so that it stays in your hearts forever.
Having been a celebrant for many years I come with a wealth of experience and a calming presence that will help you to relax and enjoy this wonderful day (which I am sure would be a high priority!).I am very blessed to love what I do and bring my enjoyment and smile to every ceremony!
I will give you friendly and professional care right from the start, and will ensure that all of the little details are taken care of, particularly on the day. I have a PA system, so your guests will be able to clearly hear all ofthe ceremony comfortably.For weddings, I will take care of all necessary legal requirements - including the registration, a calligraphy printed marriage certificate (which looks beautiful), lodgment and processing of all required forms, and adherence to the Marriage Act 1961.
To help you choose the perfect wedding ceremony- or commitment or renewal of vows - I will send to you a comprehensive Ceremony Presentation Folio which contains many examples of vows and wordings for ring exchanges, introduction and final addresses, poems and readings and lots of other bits and pieces which will stimulate creativity.
I offer unlimited assistance with the writing, and great ideas and support
so that you will have a ceremony that you both will love!

Gita Dunbar is a trained and very experienced marriage celebrant
You can leave the legal work to me (I will of course need a few signatures
from you). I will lodge all the appropriate forms. I can email you the initial
legal paper, the Notice of Intended Marriage, which you must fill in and
sign and send back to me at least 31 days before the wedding day - you
would need to get your signatures witnessed by a certified person.
I am legally required to sight your birth certificates, (passports are O. K.
if you are a visitor to Australia) and divorce papers or death certificates
if applicable.
I will prepare a lovely booklet of the wording of your ceremony, as a
keepsake, so that you will have the words as well as the photos to remind
you forever of your magical moment.
I promise to be reliable and punctual as you make that special
commitment to each other. I look forward to being able to share this
wonderful time with you both.
If you wish to give me your phone number and a suitable time I will ring
you, and we can chat a while - I think it's easier to tell if you like someone,
if you can actually hear their voice. Or if you live within an hour of
Byron Bay, I would be happy to visit your home, so then you can
see me in person. i conduct ceremonies from Ballina, Byron Bay, Ocean Shores,
Cabarita, Kingscliff and the Gold Coast.
